Join the Hollerbach family for our first ever Springfest! We’re transforming the streets of Downtown Sanford into a German festival celebrating spring weather, family, German food, drink, folk music and dancing traditions, and of course, Gemütlichkeit!
Enjoy live music on our outdoor mainstage from a seat at our communal Gasthaus tables, where you can toast to new friends over German beer and food, including fresh white asparagus just flown in from Germany! Our in-Haus band Jimmy and Eckhard will open the day, followed by the King Guys brass band, one-man band Fritzy, and local favorite Cowboy Keith.
We’ll have popular German Bier brands Tucher Hefeweizen and Spaten Oktoberfest on draft, as well as booths serving sausages, pretzels, desserts, Schnapps and wine – and of course the star attraction, fresh white asparagus imported from Germany, including Spargelcremesuppe (cream of asparagus soup), asparagus and fresh-carved Kassler ham, and asparagus with Hollandaise sauce. The best of the Sanford Farmers Market will also be on hand selling local and homemade goods in Magnolia Square.
*TICKETS will be required for all Hollerbach’s outdoor food and beverage booths, as they will not be able to accept cash or cards. These tickets may be purchased onsite the day of the event at one of our three ticket sales counters located outside, or in advance at Hollerbachs.com. Remember, our Willow Tree Cafe restaurant, Magnolia Square Market deli, and Art Haus shop will be open for regular business as well!
